Why is this base essential for Wool Mattresses?

• Prevents Mold: Wool is a living fiber that absorbs moisture. Placing a wool mattress on a flat board or the floor blocks airflow, causing mold. Our wide-spaced slats allow air to circulate freely from underneath, keeping your bed dry and healthy.

• Active Suspension: We use Steam-Bent Beechwood Slats. Unlike rigid pine slats, beech is flexible. It acts as a natural shock absorber, flexing under your weight to improve the ergonomic performance of the mattress.

• Silent & Stable: The frame is made from a single piece of welded tubular iron (40x30 mm). It does not squeak, wobble, or loosen over time.
