WARNINGS
Please note that wool pillows may require an initial settling-in period. Wool is a natural material and may require ABOUT 15 DAYS of use before reaching its final shape.
Active elasticity, superior support. The premium natural solution for cervical relief.
Experience the highest level of natural orthopedic support. Our Premium Cervical Pillow is handcrafted in Italy using the finest English Refino Wool (Lana di Refino Inglese). Distinguished by its extraordinary crimp and elasticity, this wool transforms the classic "double wave" pillow into a dynamic support system that actively cradles your neck without collapsing.
Standard wool provides support, but English Refino provides "Active Support".
The "Micro-Spring" Effect: The fibers of English Refino are naturally curly and "nervous." They act like thousands of tiny springs pushing gently upwards. This ensures your neck is held in the correct position all night long, with a feeling of lightness that denser wools cannot offer.
Long-Lasting Resilience: This premium wool resists compression better than any other natural fiber. It maintains the ergonomic shape of the cervical waves for years, preventing the pillow from becoming flat or hard.
Dry Heat Therapy: Like all our wools, it generates a therapeutic dry warmth that relaxes tense neck muscles, but with superior breathability that eliminates night sweats instantly.
Side Sleepers: The standard height of ~15 cm (on the higher side) effectively fills the gap between shoulder and ear, keeping the spine straight.
Those seeking "Elastic" Comfort: If you find foam pillows too rigid and traditional wool pillows too "heavy," this is the perfect middle ground: soft to the touch, but structurally resilient.
Back Sleepers with larger frames: The lower side of the wave can be used comfortably by back sleepers who need substantial support.
Shape: Ergonomic Double Wave (Cervical).
Dimensions: 70 cm (L) × 37 cm (W) × ~15 cm (H).
Filling: ~1.4 kg of English Refino Wool (Premium Elasticity).
Cover: 100% Natural Cotton (High density to contain fibers).
Customization: Do you prefer this premium wool but need a lower height? We can craft a custom version (e.g., 11 cm). Contact us for a quote.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: The "Settling" Period Due to the high elasticity of English Refino Wool, the pillow will arrive appearing very high and puffy. This is a sign of quality. It requires a breaking-in period of about 15 days. Under the weight of your head, the fibers will settle and compact slightly, losing the initial excess volume to reach the perfect orthopedic stability.
Air it out: Regular exposure to fresh air (in the shade) is sufficient to regenerate the wool's volume and hygiene.
Refurbishing: We offer a specialized service to wash and recard the wool, restoring its original "spring" even after years.
Cleaning: Do not machine wash. Use professional dry cleaning only.
What is the difference between this and the Abruzzese Wool version? The Abruzzese Wool is rustic, firm, and very stable (great for those who want a solid feel). The English Refino Wool is more refined, springy, and elastic. It feels slightly softer initially but pushes back more dynamically. It is the "premium" choice for comfort.
Is it good for sweating? It is the best. English Refino wool has superior hygroscopic properties, meaning it absorbs moisture faster than almost any other fiber, keeping your neck perfectly dry.
Can I use both sides? Yes. The pillow has a "double wave" shape with two different heights. You can choose the side that feels most comfortable for your neck curve on any given night.
