Finding a cervical pillow that isn't "too high" or "too hard" is a challenge. Our Low Cervical Artisanal Pillow is designed specifically to solve this problem. Handcrafted in Abruzzo using 100% Locally Sourced Abruzzese Wool, it offers the ergonomic double-wave shape but with a reduced height (~11 cm). It supports the neck curve delicately without forcing your head forward.

Why choose Abruzzese Wool?

This pillow contains the essence of our land. The wool from native Abruzzese sheep is a robust, genuine fiber with excellent properties:

  • Stable Support: Unlike soft down pillows that flatten completely, Abruzzese wool keeps a consistent density. It fills the gap under your neck and stays there all night.

  • Dry Comfort: Neck sweat is a common cause of interrupted sleep. Our wool naturally wicks moisture away, keeping your neck dry and preventing stiffness caused by dampness.

  • 100% Natural & Sustainable: A zero-kilometer product, processed without harsh chemicals, perfect for those seeking an eco-friendly bedroom.

Who is this pillow for?

  • Back Sleepers (Supine): The 11 cm height is calibrated to maintain the natural alignment of the spine without tilting the head upwards (which can cause snoring).

  • Stomach Sleepers (Prone): While cervical pillows are usually not for stomach sleepers, this Low Version is often low enough to be comfortable even in this position.

  • Small Builds: Perfect for people with narrow shoulders or children/teenagers who need ergonomic support without the bulk of a standard adult pillow.

Technical Specifications (100% Made in Italy)

⚠️ IMPORTANT: The "Settling" Period Even a low pillow needs to break in. The wool is fresh and lofty when shipped. It requires a breaking-in period of about 15 days. Under the weight of your head, the wool fibers will naturally compact and settle, reaching the optimal ergonomic height of approx. 11 cm.

Care and Maintenance

  • Air it out: Expose the pillow to fresh air regularly to regenerate the wool's self-cleaning properties.

  • Refurbishing: We offer a service to wash and recard the wool to extend the pillow's life for decades.

  • Cleaning: Do not machine wash. Spot clean the cover or use professional dry cleaning.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between this and the "English Refino" version? The Abruzzese Wool is our local, traditional fiber. It is slightly more "rustic" and stable compared to the English Refino (which is springier). It is an excellent choice for those who want a firm, grounded, and authentic natural support at a great value.

Is it good for neck pain? Yes. Most neck pain comes from pillows that are either too high or too soft. This model provides the structural support of the cervical shape but with a gentle, non-aggressive height, relaxing the muscles.

Is it hypoallergenic? Yes. The dry environment created by wool prevents the growth of dust mites and mold, making it safer than synthetic alternatives.
